How does ColorMe work?+
ColorMe uses Google's Gemini AI to transform your images and text into coloring pages. You can either upload a photo (a portrait, pet, landscape, etc.) and we'll convert it into a clean line-drawing coloring page, or you can type a text description (e.g., “a castle in a forest”) and we'll generate an original coloring page from scratch. You can then download and print your coloring page.
How much does ColorMe cost?+
ColorMe is $4.99 per month, billed automatically each month. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — there are no contracts or long-term commitments.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
You can cancel your subscription from within your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period — you won't lose access immediately. If you need help cancelling, email us at hardy@402labs.app and we'll take care of it within one business day.
What photo formats are supported?+
ColorMe supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC formats. For best results, use a high-resolution photo with good lighting and a clear subject. Photos with busy or cluttered backgrounds may produce coloring pages with complex details — simpler backgrounds typically produce cleaner results.
Is my data safe?+
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Photos you upload are sent directly to Google's Gemini AI for processing and are not permanently stored on our servers after the coloring page is generated. Your generated coloring pages and account information are stored securely via Supabase. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?+
Visit our account deletion page to permanently delete your account and all associated data, including your profile, generation history, and generated images. Your subscription will be cancelled and no further charges will occur. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
The coloring page didn't turn out well — what can I do?+
AI generation can be unpredictable. Here are a few tips to improve results:
For photos: Use a well-lit photo with a clear, simple composition. Avoid heavy shadows or very dark images.
For text prompts: Be descriptive and specific. Instead of “a dog,” try “a fluffy golden retriever sitting in a sunny meadow.”
Try re-generating — each generation may produce a different result.

Can I use ColorMe-generated images for commercial purposes?+
You own the coloring pages you generate with ColorMe and may use them for personal and commercial purposes, including selling printed copies or using them in your products. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws (including intellectual property laws) and Google's Gemini usage policies. We recommend reviewing Google's generative AI terms if you plan commercial use at scale.
What happens if I exceed my generation limit?+
Your subscription includes a set number of generations per month. If you reach the limit, you'll see a notification and generations will be paused until your next billing cycle. We don't charge overage fees. Contact us if you need a higher limit and we can discuss options.
